Moment DPD delivery driver knocks down motorcyclist, threatens witness then escapes without leaving
A DELIVERY driver has been sacked after he was caught on a helmet camera knocking over a motorcyclist, intimidating a witness and then driving off after refusing to leave his details.
Biker Praveen Velugupati was thrown off his Yamaha motorbike after a DPD delivery van shunted into him at a junction in Southall, West London, on June 21.

Mr Velugupati's helmet-cam footage shows him asking the van driver "What the f***?" after the side-swipe crash.
The unnamed DPD driver gets out and is seen arguing with him for several minutes.
At one point he squares up to a pedestrian who witnessed the crash and appears to kick the man during an ugly row.
He then continues arguing with the biker and refuses to leave his insurance details before getting back in the van and speeding away.
Another DPD driver who stopped at the scene also returns to his vehicle rather than help the biker.

Mr Velugupati said he reported the incident to the police and delivery company DPD, which has a depot close to were the crash happened.
Mr Velugupati, writing online, said: "Careless DPD UK driver knocked me down on my bike.
"He certainly didn't look sorry & started blaming me, for which I wasn't at fault. Crazy van drivers on street.
"I'm all right. It's only the bike got damaged."
Facebook pal Inderjit Singh Badwal wrote: "DPD MEANS (DUMB PEOPLE DRIVING) Stay away…"
DPD told Mr Velugupati the van driver had been sacked.
